What is your "Must Read" book?

I'm curious to hear which book(s) you all would recommend without hesitation to another reader and why.

One of my all-time favourites is "The Rice Mother" by Rani Manicka. It's simply the most beautifully written book ever and an amazing story too. I must've read it 20 times already.

One day, a few years ago, I went to a library, hoping to find it, so I can read it again. I exclaimed with delight when I found it on the shelf. An old woman heard me and smiled at me. I asked her if she read the book and I'll never forget her reply:

"That is a book you should own!" I bought myself a copy

My must read book is Harry Potter.It's the one book that shaped my childhood and cemented my love for reading.

A must-read book is The Art of Love by the roman poet Ovid. It teaches basic male and female relationship skills and techniques. And after 2000 years, today it is still valid, current, and applicable!

That would be A Song of Fire and Ice. I also have to concur the Harry Potter series is special considering it is pretty much the one "young adult series" that has been universally read.
