Thats why I didn't start watching, I like the book series a lot, and didn't want to see something that clashed with the characters I know from the books.letterHead said:I'm watching Bones, even though there is nothing in common with the books other than the name of the character,

I've just started watching this show! Been watching the repeats also....it's really great! Although I've still missed a few and I was hoping to get the whole story before it started up again, but I guess not.beer good said:Season 2 premiere of Weeds tomorrow. I can't wait. Been re-watching season 1, and I still think it's one of the best series in years, with very well-drawn characters and a perfect mix of drama and comedy... people keep comparing it to "Desperate Housewives", personally I think it's closer to a suburban Showtime version of "The Sopranos". Anyone else watch it?
Anyone else watching Dexter? I just saw the first two episodes and it looks really promising... so far I'm not sure if that's because of what's actually happened or because the general plot (serial killer who works for the police tracks and kills other serial killers, which I suppose makes him a serial serial killer killer) is just pretty damn cool. But Michael C Hall and Julie Benz are two of my favourite TV actors, and they're great together so far...
Point of order - Julie Benz plays his girlfriend. (At least in the episodes I've seen so far!) Though I can understand how you'd make the mistake, since there's only one thing wrong with the (magnificent) opening credits; no names-to-faces thing.Julie Benz is authentically annoying as his whiney and demanding cop sister.

Between Weeds, Masters Of Horror and Dexter, Showtime has almost made up for cancelling Dead Like Me.
