Sunscreen, Sunscreen, Sunscreen!!!!!!!!!!

I've been reading/hearing that we need to filter out the UVB rays, too. That the UVA just fools us into thinking that we can stay out for hours and hours; we don't burn, but the damage is still occuring.

I've been a little too closely involved with skin cancer in my lifetime, so I'm a little rabid about sun protection. I think the best thing to do is put on sunscreen, but also stay out of the sun between 11 and 3 if you can. And if it's overcast you've still gotta put it on, people!

Being a redhead and fair skinned, I wear 50 proof sunscreen, hat and stay in the shade a lot during summer. In the winter I change to a 35 proof. I don't like to take chances with the sun but I do love to be outside. Some sunscreens cover both types of rays.

I hope you wrote it down. Dreams are messages from you to you. This one sounds urgent.

normally i do if they are at all cryptic or interesting, however the message in this one was zombie's are coming to kill you and i should be armed with a golf club to hack them to death. it could be i don't like golf.....

not today...cos its nightt ime, but tomorrow...
I'm going to early morning karate training, then lunch with a friend to discuss/edit part 2 of my novella and to go book shopping, then visiting my grandma, taking in photos to be developed, getting my nails done, sleeping at my best friends house.

fun fun

I bought sturdier curtain rods and talked the boys (aka part time slaves)downstairs into hanging them for me so by the end of the day I will have gauzy, shimmering blue curtains in my room. I now am taking them and my son to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory today, oh and last night we dyed my hair pomegranate red so I get to see how that goes over with everyone.

red is hot baby!!!!!!
i'm going to see charlie tonight too with mikey.
i am cleaning now.( well i am eating a sandwich and tbfing, but then i am going to clean) mike is at a playdate and sam is blissfully asleep after dumping the new box of goldfish crackers onto the floor and then pulverizing them.

i used to put food in my pocket and try to remember to run upstairs to flush it, but sometimes i would forget and mom would come across mashed, half chewed bits while doing the laundry....

today is bloody freaking hot. it's smothering. you can't breath. i am taking my rental car back, planning on swinging by anywhere there may be AC and then return to the inn for a lovely afternoon of checking in guests and trying to not sweat profusely as to scare them off making them think i am some seedy, sweaty person.

lol. curiouser and curiouser.

today i am heading to the city. matt and i have not been away alone, for over 2 years, and by god it is time. so as soon as the babysitters arrive we are outta here, not to be seen or heard from until dinner time sunday night.

is it possible to have a dream about someone, call them x, and know for certain that the dream was actually about someone else, call them y? and that your brain for various reasons has substituted x for y, but upon waking you say,"oh i had the strangest dream about y last night"

i'm just wondering.

so ya'll i hope you have a good weekend. :) don't burn your retina's out reading hbp until the wee hours of the morn.

That happens to me a lot Jenn, in fact its happened this week about 3 times. I keep dreaming about this gorgeous Italian football player - and while I dont mind that at all hee hee- I know that the situations in the dreams are actually mirroring the dynamics of another real life relationship. Its so wierd how this happens, I can only think its because it comes from the subconcious so the people in dreams are those buried somewhere in your head...or something. Its like when you dream about someone you havent seen in about 20 years and didn't even know very well---where the hell does that come from
Have a great weekend yourself, Ive been doing retail therapy now for what seems to be about 24 hours, think Im feeling a little better!

Reading Harry Potter and going to a bbq. Its for an old school pal that i havnt seen in a while. She is turning 22. Itl be fun :D
