what's everyone up to today?

sam is asleep, mike is vegging watch old episodes of fantastic 4, and i am sitting here eating the biggest freakin' greek salad you have ever seen. it's in a mixing bowl for pete's sake.

last night my team tied for the first time. we've never won, but last night we didn't lose. it was a big night. play offs start today and our goal is to play at least 3 games.

nothing else. too hot outside, the uv index would give anyone that lovely turkey basted glow in about 10 seconds flat. mmmm, hufu.

i am dividing my time between laundry and an ac filled room. it's vile outside..my outfits keep getting smaller and smaller, soon guests will be wondering what kind of place i am running here!!

but it was a great day none the less..had friends here all week and last night we went to the batting cages ( turns out i can hit a ball) and pigged out on fried seafood...had a true cape cod day...

I have stuffed my poor little car full of junk that I will now take down to my Mother-in-Law so she can have a yard sale. I am looking at it and thinking God that's hideous, where did it come from and hoping it wasn't a gift from my M-I-L, ah well I'm moving so I can use that as an excuse.

Im seriously considering buying one of those wide funky hairbands that has a full wig attached, Im so sick of waiting for my hair to grow. Apart from that diversion into middle-aged madness ( its a hormone thang) I've got to get the washing on the line, do some crochet, a bit of blogging, and read a few chapters...hell, its nearly lunchtime as well...to eat or not to eat, that is the question :(

today i am changing the rug in my living room, cleaning my kitchen.. , and doing my own laundry...screw the inn's laundry, i am looking a little wrinkled!

the weather has seemed to calm down and i look down the driveway and can see the trees as opposed to the blurry, hazy green blob that it has been, so i will get to get out for a walk today....!!

just back from the doctor's office where sam was given a clean bill of health. (we had a little scare last week) now i am just going to putter around the house.

Okaaay!!! I got 3 of 4 kids off to the first day of school today!!!!!! Then I had a sewing machine to see about, and a little shopping to do. The house is quiet, Adam is playing well by himself, already had lunch and soon it will be nap-time. Hubby starts his new job on Monday. Yahoo!!!

Hiya, Jenny-cakes!

finishing up a couple of things at work, and getting ready to head to the coffee house for some live gee-tar music!

Hmm..not sure if you remember but the result of that 29 year old bus driver that asked for my number....well he still lives with his parents! Is that a little wierd for a 29 year old with a secure job to still live at home?

Hmm...might give him a miss! Things are looking up with my guy that lives in Northampton. He is looking for a job up my way :D Ach its terrible to have a choice isnt it lol.

It’s been a long day today, in a good way. I got up early (for a Saturday) and went riding. For those that are familiar with Virginia, the route I took went from Fredericksburg to Charlottesville to Culpepper and back to Fredericksburg. It was a nice easy ride that allowed me to get back to the house before the temperature got too high. Out again in the afternoon, then trip to the mall to shop for a birthday gift for my better half.

Dont worry, in Italy 49 year olds with secure jobs, nice cars, laptops and 3 mobile phones still live at home.

Today I had to beat my way to the supermarket nice and early to get my clams for dinner tonight - only 2 people in front of me at the fish counter, both of them having paranoid hysterics in case I got served before them and bought up the 400 fish on display. Then I went and bought some headscarves...ay ay busy life...

Saturday-Went on a shopping day basically. Got a haircut in prepartion for school, as well as some clothes to add to the old wardrobe. Then bought seven books at a large, impersonal, faceless, small-book-store-crushing, mega corporation. :D Then we rented a movie about Hitler's last days in his bunker-very interesting movie indeed. Finished up with a good book and a great Indian Tabac classic corojo cigar.

Sunday-Currently ingesting a massive amount of caffeine to wake-up.
