Sick, I'm helping out at the school and been around some sick kids, then you add stress to the mix and there you go. I'm going into the doc tomorrow for my yearly physical I'm sure he'll fix me up :)
 
I have a much calmer day planned today. When I got to the doctor's yesterday, they told me I was late( was 5min. early, I thought)- Iwas a whole day late. :eek:
Today should be better, I don't think there's anywhere I HAVE to be until early evening when I have to get kids to various church functions. Even then, I think I can send a designated teen driver, so I can stay home. Hubby has a pulpit committee meeting this evening. They are interviewing a pastoral candidate :) (We need a simile doing a happy dance)
 
@ Ronny- I hope your throat gets better. My sister the teacher told me never drink out of the water fountains at school. That is the surest way to get sick. She learned this one the hard way. :(

@ abecedarian- Now I've been late, but never that late! :eek: Although I once was a day early for a hair appointment. :eek:

My day is full of work, housework, ordering a part for a customer, getting a key to the shop so I can draw up a proposal for another customer, and a mountain of sewing is hollering for my attention. Guess I'd better get busy!
 
today is a brilliant day......a little too warm for my liking..i am longing for real fall weather to start....bring out the sweaters! the boys took the boat out again today and did a little fishing...caught one......lame! and i stayed at the inn having a staring contest with the laundry......bleepin' towels. and so now they are back, i am going to jump in the pool and eat bbq blue fish ( i think that's what it's called )......
 
While at the doctor's today, I stopped in at pediatrics to try and handle a referral for a specialist my son sees and not only did it take 2 hours to get it :eek: they made me cry, so I bawled like a babe in public today :( :eek:
 
What in the world did these "professionals" do to make you cry??? I'm sorry you had such a bad day. At least the ladies at my doctors office were kind about be missing the appointment, and I didn't have to wait as a "walk-in".
Some people must just get their thrills out of upsetting others.
 
Well had I not been sick myself I probably would have stayed calmer but I wasn't feeling well and the issue had been going on for weeks prior to my 2 hour wait so when they said they were not going to continue to cover his specialist care I teared up and started crying. I then had to go around to two more people but I did get it handled I think.

oh ronny..sorry to hear that.
 
My oldest is home sick today, with fever and sore throat. Hey, at least the littlest one has someone to play with! I'm watching Hurrucane Rita and making preparations for a stormy weekend. I may make a quick run to the library to stock up on books, the grocery for a few essentials, and then batten down the hatches.
 
i am h-u-n-g-o-v-e-r.......... :eek:

so i am going to nosh on some serious junk food and feel sorry for myself.......
