What's It Like By You Today?

Temp hovering around -4 C - waiting for the big storm to hit, predicting 15 - 20 cms or more. To the Faherenheiters, that's quite a bit of snow! Will put the snowblower to good use. Some folks arranged to take today off thinking the storm would start today and they've been snookered as it won't start until this evening and they'll have to contend with it to get to work tomorrow. :(
 
forecast 30C+ again today... :sigh: best take the dogs to the beach real soon, before it's time to lock the house up and turn the air con onto high.
 
Snow finally stopped, quite a storm, about a foot of snow out on the street, all the driveways are plowed or shovelled out, now when the city plow comes around to do the street everyone will have to go and dig out the end of their driveway if they want to get their car out. Looks pretty though.

Looks like our yard, snowplow didn't come around until about 11:00 a.m. this morning and although we had the driveway cleared it was iffy about taking the car out in case of getting stuck on the street. Where you at regdog?
 
Massachusetts, driveway is worse than the backyard and the guy who plows isn't around :(

Saw from the paper that the Eastern States was hit badly by the storm. Hope you didn't lose power, heard that some homes had lost power. Here today is brilliant sunshine but still cool and then RAIN tomorrow. Weird weather.
 
Snowed again yesterday and today it's frigid cold and windy. Won't this winter ever end?
 
We had a snowfall on Saturday but nothing too heavy in our area. The snow is still sitting around in gardens etc. but the roads are all clear. Still cold though, -10C (-14F) last night with wind chill which brought it down to -17C.
 
Still snow everywhere....cold and windy. Doesn't help that we live at the top of a mountain. Damn, I'm sick of winter. Had our satellite tv and internet hooked up today. Took over 5hrs cause the tech's hands kept freezing up. Averages 15F-20F every morning.
