What's the difference between spam and self promotion?

We have a good idea of what is spam, what isn't, who is here to just use the forum for self gain and doesn't want to contribute anything else.

If you enjoy the site and respect it as a community you won't have to worry about anything. No one is perfect and we always take that into consideration.
