What's the most misspelled word?

How the heck did I miss this thread? I think I hurt myself there.

My contribution is "could of" or "should of". AAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! When I see that I feel my BP rising!

Odd, I was just thinking about it and why it was bothering me.

Can't catch me...:innocent:

Title - fixed, spayed and neutered!

Funny, but when I see misspelled words I feel pity for the person who has embarrassed themselves publicly.

Funny how Definitely and Hilarious are actually words that I misspell a lot, BUT I use my trusty spellcheck on my browser to make sure I always spell it right when I post it somewhere!

My biggest pet peeves: They're and Their, Your and You're and these are easy. I don't know why people can't get them right. Whenever I am spelling these words I say in my head (they are) or (you are), it's like automatic. What frustrates me the most is that my first language is French, and it seems to be my English friends who have more spelling mistakes.

Not a misspelt word, but an erroneous word. And its usage, spoken or written, irks me no end...The offending word? Irregardless.

It seems to be more and more acceptable for the English language to be butchered or bastardised; such as irregardless and (ugh!) redonkulous...two words I hate hearing or reading more than 'no'.

I think it's the you's and their's that get misspelled a lot. Kinda drives me crazy. Maybe I'm insecure..

You know you're on the wrong path when they're trying their new razor on your body, down there.

PS. I know we all hit the spell check button to make sure nothing else was spelled incorrectly :p

Some people have not found the spellchecker as yet, this seems particularly prevalent in e-mails from businessmen. I always think that is a little embarrassing seeing as these people ought to be able to at least spell things right.

But then again I do tend to notice spelling errors rather quickly and I get annoyed by them. Probably because of the never-ending English language courses.

I am using Firefox 5.0 - how do I access the built in spell-check? I've checked the 'options' but can't see anything there.

Firefox automatically spell checks as you are writing. Firefox shows incorrectly spelled words by underlining it with a red squiggly line. To change spelling simply click on the indicated word and choose from option list given by Firefox.

I don't know why anyone would still use I.E. ai1116.photobucket.com_albums_k562_idlemusings_foxlove.gif
