What's wrong with auto racing in the US of A?

It's probably a lot of little things, Motokid. Taste is one factor. I mean when people would rather watch poker then hockey, then....
Anyway, the only races I watch on TV are motorcycle races. I think it has a lot to do with the lack of perception of speed when you watch the races on TV. Once that perception is gone, the excitment that comes with speed and danger is gone and it becomes a sport of tactics like baseball.
