When the heck is fall/summer/winter/autumn?

I would peg Autumn 2005 as October-ish.

I'm sure this is a way of saying, "We don't have a specific date set so we'll just give a very broad idea of time to shut people up for a little while."

Most people prefer to go by whole months (ie Summer - June, July, August) and forget that it's actually based on the solstice/equinox.

It's probably not forgetting; more a case of not knowing. Incidentally, how are you enjoying that book you are reading?

True - I guess most people do not know.

I'm enjoying it - I certainly like the style of writing even though it is heavier than anything I have read recently. I had hoped to be further into it than I am (approx 150 pages) but have had rather limited time to read recently. I am hoping to finish it this week though (providing the weather is nice ). What do you think of The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana?
