Which song are you listening to right now?

I never listen to anything while I'm writing. It's like being forced to think someone else's thoughts. Even worse when I used to edit a lot and was already forced to think the author's thoughts. Like writing one thing and saying another at the same time. Even instrumental music. Feels like I'm being jerked around or having some commercial message poured over my brain.

I know what you mean. When I'm working I can't stand music either!

But at the moment I'm not working altought I should: Radio - Robbie Williams

I wonder how many people will not actually cite the song they are currently listening to, but will think for a minute to come up with a song that will make them look very interesting.

Anyway, please proceed.

Cheers

You are a terrible cynic arent you? lol :D

Some Girls Will by Racey

Prodigy - Smack My Bitch Up

I hardly ever listen to music while surfing the 'net. But my wife is out of the house and it's really quiet here, so I figured I'd listen to some mp3s.

Now it's... Placebo - Taste in Men (after skipping through a bunch of other songs I didn't want to listen to).

Maya: The Streets are great! I love 'em!

Listening to: Four Seasons - Vivaldi.

No, really.

Ok, I lied: The Counting Crows - Accidentally in Love.

Cheers

Gregorian Chant: Stabat Mater by the Benedictine Monks of the Abbey of St. Maurice.

It is really good. I got it on Itunes last for my Ipod.

You're Gonna Need Someone On Your Side - Morrissey: "With the world's fate resting on your shoulders, you're gonna need someone on your side. And here I am ... Well, you don't need to look so pleased." :D

Boys and Girls - Good Charlotte

Believe me this one rocks! :D :D :D
Are there any other punk rock fans out there? Like Green Day, Sum 41, Limp Bizkit, Good Charlotte?

Me. I really like Green Day, Sum 41 but not so much Limp Bizket because they seem kinda samey and use too much shock in their music and it just gets a little old. :)

At the moment I am listening to Tori Amos - "Don't make me come to Vegas"

I just got Sultans of Swing, Dire Straits. My first listen from this band.

Hey Raven, it's got Brothers in Arms in it. :)

The very first Dire Straits album is still one of my Top 10 All-Time favorites. It's a great start-to-finish listening to album.

But right now...

I'm being bombarded by Bryan Adams from the "Spirit" soundtrack (my little one woke up wanting to see it this morning.) :(

Fortunately, it's a rental -- so only two times so far this weekend! :)

Who decided Bryan Adams should sing ballads? :( There was a time when he was a not-too-bad, middle of the road rocker. But then that damn Robin Hood soundtrack came along and

I wonder how Elton John let one slip by him.

DS, have you given Brothers in Arms a listen then?

Right now I'm listening to the melodic stylings of one Ronnie Montrose. I'm quite sure most the forum members not living in California are saying to themselves, who's that? (or who cares?)
