:rolleyes: If that came out at Christmastime in '68, I was trying to survive second grade, with Mrs. Baker..who was probably just about your age then. She was fresh out of college and we were her first class.That was a year of non-stop worksheets, and I learned to judge her moods by the way she wore her hair: up in an elaborate bouffant that must have taken hours= great; down in a flip ala Karen Valentine= rotten=stay the blazes out of her way! I also remember we held a mock presidential election that year, and I was one of the few who voted for Humphrey; I liked his smile better than Richard Nixon's :rolleyes:


Oh, and for Christmas I want a red, white, or blue Corolla..

Thursday the 13th here. I just missed it. What do you mean, it was meant to be the 14th? Did your mom have a C-section? My mom did but it was because I was choking on my umbilical and the docs had to get me out.

I Remember the song and Petula Clark well. I was on temporary assignment in N.Y. City and she was "playing" at Basin Street East which was across the street from the hotel where I was staying.

Me and Bobby McGee, Janis Joplin - absolutely the best version of this great song.

Both were great songs
