Come on abecedarian, how many times, back in the day, did some discarded gum end up deposited between two innocent and unknowing pages. How could you!

No siree! I'm talking about the outer wrappings..the Juicy Fruit, Doublemint, and Beechnut labels..the inner wrapper was too slick to make good markers

Besides, Murphy's Law being what is, and me being the natural born klutz people who know me well have tolerate...discarded gum usually wound up in my hair more often than inside my books
