Hello People
Heres another Q&A with one of my favourite author James Rollins/James Clemens
1] This year you will have a short story coming out in the book "Thriller" organized by the thrillerfest organization, could you tell us as to how all of this came into place & something...
Well you have a different viewpoint on the opening of the novel, i could also point the same thing as in the opening where Rockingham & Dismarum are talking about their past mistakes thats what the difference the Dark Lord has made.
Also if you read Wi'tch gate you will realise how the...
Well i gotta disagree with you Brys on all accounts.
1] The use of apostrophes was just a way of writing, plus you could hardly notice it after the first 20-30 pages or so, also on asking the author it has been revealed that there is a reason for those apostrophes which would be revealed in...

My top 5 in fantasy are:
1] James Clemens
2] Steven Erikson & Ian Cameron Esslemont
3] R. Scott Bakker
4] David Gemmell
5] Robert Newcomb
And honourable mentions go to L Frank Baum[ wizard of Oz series] & J.K. Rowling
Forgive me DS if i donot remember the story properly as i had read it 6-7 years ago.
I remember certain characters Howard Roark, Gail Wynand, Peter & the Girl whom he marries[ but she loves Howard]
I read all of it & still couldn't fathom the story what was Howard's objective...
Definately The Black Order is the 2nd SIGMA novel & the first novel to feature a character from one of his earlier books

Mine would be :
Malazan world by Steven Erikson
Myrillia by James Clemens
Drenai world by David Gemmell
Parthalon & Eutracia by Robert Newcomb
The world of OZ by L. Frank Baum
My choice would be Atlas shrugged by Ayn Rand, for the life of me i never understood what she wanted to tell in the book????????????
Robert Jordan & Terry Goodkind would be other ideal contenders if it were "Most overrated authors" ;)
Inconsistency has been Crichton's nemesis for a long time now, he has written some very good novels[Sphere,Jurassic Park,Timeline], some above-avg novels[Prey, Andromeda strain, Congo] & some bad ones[JP:Tthe lost world, Terminal man]
You can love/ignore him but you gotta apreciate...
