  • Quills really was great. Like Henry & June, I can't stop thinking about it. I really want to see it again soon. :sigh: :swoons: ;) The difference between this and H&J is that there's a lot more eye candy for the ladies! :p
    I thought you'd dig it.

I remember that Shelley Duvall show when it ran on Showtime in the 80's. Never watched it though.
Omg Lenny! I finally saw Quills last night on Hulu... it was fantastic!!! I'm so in love with this movie (although I do think I like Henry & June more). But man, lots and lots of hot people - such a sexy movie. Rush was hilarious. It was such a great film. I really want to own it.

    My interests:
Shelley Duvall’s Faerie Tale Theatre: Complete Collection

    and that's it.
Brotherhood of the Wolf is good fun, I've got a canadian 3 disc edition that has the most thunderous dts track i've ever heard on a dvd. And yes, Belluci is nude in it.

Lust, Caution is great, lotsa graphic sex and wartime intrigue.

I've got dvr's of the Midnight Blue Collection and it's awesome, I can't tell you how much fun it is. Al Goldstein is a maniac and there's tons of interviews/features with golden age porn stars.

Salo is a great film, but it's hard to take. After you see it, you're never the same.

    Cannibal Holocaust rules!

    My interests:
The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning ;) You know you love it too!
Brotherhood of the Wolf - haven't seen it yet. Have you? It has the super sexy Monica Bellucci.
Lust, Caution - been wanting to see this for a long time.
Midnight Blue Collection - sounds like fun!

    Salo sounds horrifying. Ugh.
Cannibal Holocaust - won't go near that shit.
    LOL! I knew it! :D

Let me know how Wizard of Gore turns out.
Oh! Paul finally ordered The Slip - so yay!

    My interests:
The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior - because I liked The Mummy trilogy. :p
    The Small Back Room
An American Crime - I missed maybe the first 30 minutes or so. Ellen Page is super cute (and thin!) in this movie. Overall - such a sad f'ed up [true] story.
The Wizard of Gore - hell yeah! Crispin Glover, Bijou Phillips, Suicide Girls... I don't even know what it's about... but I have to see it.

Burbank Drive-in collection: Between the Covers/Swinging Wives

It's entertaining but not very accurate in it's portrayal of de Sade. Plus it's not often you see a woman getting dp'ed in a r rated film. Oh and Kate Winslet is nude in it, which is always a plus. :D
    Ooh! Sounds good.
Have you ever seen Quills? That movie about De Sade? It's free on Hulu - but I haven't found the time or the will to sit down and watch it.
It's pretty funny. Thanks for the heads up.

I watched Justine De Sade over the weekend, you should definitely check that one out.
I have no idea. I just know that Meghan Fox is credited as "Sophie Mae" which is actually her character's name in that move, "How to lose friends..."
I kinda read a little of the comments on that AICN post, but still not clear on what it's all about.
I have been reading AICN and I did see that they were considering BJ Novak. Sounds interesting.

Did you see that weird fake trailer thing for Teresa: The Making of a Saint? If not, I suggest you Google it.
It was good. The picture quality wasn't that great, but wow, has Lindberg got a body. There's also a new interview with her on the disc and she said she had never seen the film until right before the interview.

Have you been reading on aicn about the casting for Tarantino's next film, the big WW2 flick? So far Brad Pitt, and Eli Roth have been cast and theyre talking to Ryan from The Office to be in it. I can't wait to see it.
    RE: Maid in Sweden
Ooh! I saw the trailer for that a few months ago on YouTube - that looks good.
    How did you like it?
None of his picks interested me this week. I just got Christina Lindberg's Maid in Sweden in from netflix!
