Hi everyone, I need to find a book that compares to Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. But more specifically it needs to deal with the colonization of villages by others (often Europeans) who are technologically superior. This should be a fiction. Any help is appreciated! :)

Interesting articles. Books are so important, they can teach things to narrow minded people, and there are so many people in the prison system that are illeterate. Something needs to be done about this. Apparently some states are more willing to do something about it then others.

Well I have not read Shawshank redemption, but it is on my list, and I ADORED the movie. Actually only found out recently it was a Stephen King Story.

Funny how Definitely and Hilarious are actually words that I misspell a lot, BUT I use my trusty spellcheck on my browser to make sure I always spell it right when I post it somewhere! My biggest pet peeves: They're and Their, Your and You're and these are easy. I don't know why people can't...

Oui cette suggestion est aussi bonne de Gilgamesh. Aussi, c'est bien ca, il y a des expression en français qui ne se disent simplement pas en anglais donc il faut changer les phrases. Je pense que c'est la chose la plus difficile a propos de la traduction, mais tu pourra mieux les apprendre en...
