I wonder how many of us out here actually saw the movie and only think we read the book?

Okay, I have a serious question. Is it a volunteer position or a paid job? I'm assuming that it's pretty time-consuming, and it appears to be a pretty thankless task, at least some of the time. Does one do this (moderate) for the simple fun of it? :confused:

It seems to be helpful to speak several languages too. (I'm thinking of Davina Porter at the moment.) And people like George Guidall and Simon Prebble are just so amazing. You mean to tell us that they aren't paid a fortune for what they do? They should be! A good narrator can make a bad...
