I doubt it, because if that's all Snape wanted he would've found some other way to get DD out of the picture. He could have faked killing him or something, but if he was loyal to DD he would not actually kill him. That would be interesting if DD's death really was a fake. There was no proof...

Snape seems to be afraid of humiliation. His childhood probably had a lot to do with it. He was always humiliated at Hogwarts and, from what Harry saw when he penetrated Snape's mind, he didn't have a pleasent home environment.

I think Ron and Hermione will talk Harry in to going to Hogwarts. He will stay there for a while and then leave, like Fred and George did (he won't leave in such a rebellious fashion, though)

In a way what he said was true. Don't get me wrong; I love the books. But the fad is starting to get a little tiring and the movies do suck. It is also true that a lot of kids are more interested in reading now because of these books.

I used to think that, but I think the fact that he was my favorite character had something to do with that. Then I realized he was actually dead and no one can come back from the dead. So I had a day of mourning and got on with the series.
