I usually read every night for at least a half an hour before bed. My girlfriend and I sometimes work opposite shifts, so I read a lot during the day while she's at work. On average, I read 2-3 books per month.

I buy at least one book a month.. sometimes more.

I usually use a folded up piece of paper. I think the bookmark I'm currently using is an old grocery list. :lol:

I could spend all day in a bookstore. There have been times that my girlfriend has had to literally drag me out. :lol: I don't usually buy books brand new, though.. I shop on Amazon a lot, buying them used. My wishlist is currently 17 pages long. :)

I woke up at 4 o'clock this morning and read about 30 pages of my book. I'm a little over halfway finished. I plan on finishing the rest within the next couple days.

While I have over 150 books on my To Be Read list, I don't plan very far ahead. I usually know which book I'm going to read next when I'm about half way through the book I'm currently reading.

I would love to work around books. I've applied at the local library as well as Barnes & Noble, but neither of them ever called me.. :sad:

I just started buying books instead of borrowing them from the library within the last year.. so my collection is still fairly small. I own around 75 books.

Linwood Barclay is absolutely amazing. He writes thrillers that leave you on the edge of your seat. I could read each of his books in one sitting. Another one of my favorite authors is Jodi Picoult. My girlfriend got me into her. I love her style of writing.
