Lucky for me... my espresso machine is "manual". And, yes, the taste does depend a lot on the bar-person. Espresso has to be made with love for it to turn out right. I have got to be the pickiest person in the world when it comes to coffee. If I don't like what I've made, or don't think the espresso is creamy as it should be, I'll throw it down the sink and start over.clueless said:Sirmyk, your machine looks far better than anything I've seen so far and I am picky (I once returned one to a shop and when they asked me what was wrong with it, I said I didn't like the coffee), so maybe I am wrong in what I am about to say.
All those automatic expresso machines cannot compare with the manual ones you find in coffee houses in the company (manual pumps). It all depends on the skill of the barman, of course.

I use a clean cup... usually.
phil_t said:What, you bother rinsing it out first?? The worst thing is when you've had milk in the glass and you use it for something else, you get these little white floaty bits in it
