Actually, I think the author has stated that her intentions never were to make this a series of books for children. That is why they have gotten progressively darker as Harry Potter has grown older. Granted, they aren't that dark compared to other books, but my only point is that they weren't written with a children's audience in mind.Usagi said:I really like the HP books.
