Non-inflammatory political subject line about opinions of Republican primary voters

Just for comparison purposes, do any of you folks happen to believe that George W. Bush in any way helped orchestrate the 911 attacks?
I remember several people I know buying into that conspiracy theory pretty heavily and most of them still believe it to this day. Maybe when you really, really don't like someone it becomes easier to believe bad things about them?
Just a thought. :whistling:

I kinda wonder why people would even believe Obama's a non-US citizen. If you're unsure of something, I'd imagine you'd seek out the official word on it, then rest the case.

I mean, I'm sure there must be a very compelling rationale to convince what I believe to be very reasonable people to believe something that has been categorically proven false.

According to the International Skeptics Society 20% of Americans still believe the sun revolves around the earth. (30% of Russians)

Generally, I try to hang out with non-delusional people. So no. :whistling:

Ha! Lucky you! I am not self employed or highly educated so I get exposed to delusional people all the time in my workplaces.
But back to my point.... since I guess I am not making my point very well. To be specific :
Are you aware that the George W. Bush/ 911 connection was a pretty well known conspiracy theory that was subscribed to by certain people in the world?
I am not sure of the percentage of people that believed it, but I know I saw a documentary discussing it on the History Channel or something like that, so it must have been a fair number. It seems like I recall Michael Moorer may have alluded to such things as well, although I never saw that movie.

Point being, republican primary voters are..... crazy to some degree or other, but really not that much more crazy than anyone else.

I ascribe to the theory put forth in South Park: the rumours that the Bush administration were behind 9/11 were put out there by... the Bush administration themselves, because it's better to be seen as evil but competent rather than just clueless. ;)

I think maybe they were doing something else evil and accidentally caused the events of 9/11, and then never realized what they had done.

Evil, Incompetent, and Clueless!

Yes, exactly like that. Hey.... maybe the two are connected in some way..........

Btw not to cross thread (Is that the right term?), but thanks to you my daughter had to ask me to stop singing Lionel Ritchie while I was washing the dishes.
Thanks.

This proves that some people are actually obsessed with Fox news, which is without a doubt the only news channel in the world worth watching. I have to laugh when people go on about evil Fox news and evil Bush. If this is what they think, then they actually have led sheltered lives, because they really apparently do not know what real evil is.
