And Billy O, I've seen a picture of you in make-up.

I'm fairly sure that I haven't been sharing my photograph collection with you so I suspect the hand of a certain Ms Wilde is involved here. But you've got to admit I look absolutely gorgeous don't I?

I confess, I was building your North American fan base. :) Words weren't doing you justice.

I saw Liverpool play this weekend, and win, too! :) First match I've managed to catch all season. I know I'm usually the one condemning television, but long-live Fox Sports World!

Cathy.... I'm only teasing here........ but,
how the heck could you mix up Ben Stiller with Ben Affleck????? Please tell me it's only because they're both named BEN, and not based on their physical attributes. :D
Ben A. is a hunka hunka, tall, dark and handsome
Ben S. is  (and the size of a mouse)

Haha. Probably because I don't see many movies, don't follow movie star's careers, and couldn't pick either of them out on the street. :D It took about five movies before I could remember Harrison Ford's name!

I don't believe the toughness of it's athletes is reall indicative of the quality of the sport as seemingly assumed above. However, did anyone see Curt Schilling pitch last night!? Talk about a guy with some guts. A tendon torn completely off and he has the tendon stiched from the outside temporarily to the muscle tissue. He then proceeds to have to push off that ankle to pitch and manages a 6 inning 4 hit no earned run performance against probably the best hitting team in baseball. This is not to mention the fact he might have ended his career by doing this for the second straight game. He's an intelligent guy, so it's not that this was just stupidity not allowing him to grasp the picture here. I remain in awe....

*bows* Hats off to you Curt...

Sad for us fans, but good for you, since we won't have anything to bore you on! (at least re: this particular sport)

Oh, but I do. :D

I'm happy to report that our team handed out a 4-1 thrashing over the visiting Flint Michigan (Generals) team.

The game included five fights. Four of which took place in the last 30 seconds of the match. And a good time was had by the 10,000 + that attended.

Raven, did you get to actually be in the stands during the game, or did you just hear about it?
Sounds exiting and a great turnout!
:)

I was there. I have season tickets 7 rows off the ice, off to the side of the net that the home team shoots at 2 of the periods.

For a mid size town, we do fairly well attendence wise. We average around 8,000 per game but sometimes sell out at 12,000 or so.

Our team is in it's 53rd year, so I definitely live in a hockey town. :D
