Random Question..Keep posting

do you enjoy watching the first snowfall of the winter (if you have snow)

Yeah, it's beautiful. I do like it to melt quick though. No chance of that happening (last night was our first December snowfall). What is your indespensible winter item?

The 1812 Overture, was watching the movie The Music Lovers, a stylized and semi fantasized film about Tchaikovsky's life.

If you eat porridge do you add more salt after cooking or do you add brown sugar?

bacon once a week, the rest of the week toast with peanut butter

Do you go to bed at the same time each night?

Anybody that likes cottage cheese. I am not one of those people.

I will admit to liking tofu when properly prepared and served, though. Am I alone?

To be fair, I've not ever had tofu..it might be good in the hands of the right cook.

Beans..good eats or not fit for man or beast?

Beans, beans the musical fruit.

I love beans of all sorts. Red beans, black beans, green beans, purple beans, butter beans, pinto beans, kidney beans. /Forest Gump

My default I-have-to-cook-for-myself meal is red beans and rice.

Long grain rice, really rice or devious impostor?

Whatever rice comes in the package - I think what I've just cooked is long grain as I'm making curried tuna casserole.

Do you keep items in case some day you might find a use for them even if you haven't used them in 10 years?

Guilty as charged...I keep stuff way too long.

What was the last thing you threw away, only to find out you should have kept it?

Power steering hose banjo bolt washers for the project car. You can't get them anymore so I had to improvise.

Have you ever had the soft drink known as Cheerwine?

Books mostly, but I also have a lovely collection of perfume bottles and decorative boxes.

If you own a scarf/scarves, what color is the one you wear most frequently?

Depends on the scarves you are asking about, I have silk, cashmere, wool, etc and ad nauseum...I love scarves, nice way to have some nice fabrics without having to spend a fortune. Favorite at this time is a Tibetan wool in browns and oranges.

Let's hang with the collection/hoarding question...anyone else have a collection?

sure.. lots of.. books of course, i think hoarding applies there too.. i collect things, snowglobes, teapots, round glass paperweights, bookmarks, fantasy figurines... amongst others...

same again..

I used to collect decorative plates, coins, "antique" bottles, mini-perfume bottles and buttons (the metal pin-on type) but I am slowly selling it off. Now I have a small collection of fine art by local artists.

Anything you used to collect and now wonder why you collected it at all?
