What's a bot?

It's a cyber-crawler computer program that wanders websites and looks for keywords, Billy. So when you Google, or Yahoo, etc., you can find this site by searching "Book & Forum" or some other variation. Sometimes you can see them pop up in the middle of the night. Some metacrawler companies have a sense of humor and make them LOOK like spiders. Some spammers have cyber-bots that can find a log-in page to a site like this by looking for keywords. Then the bot has coded instructions to add the proper data to the proper boxes so that the hacker can spam the site. However, a bot CANNOT read the bent and twisted image letters to recreate them in the verification box, because it's an image rather than text (and they're bent and twisted).

You had already been asked by the Administrator to fix the size of your signature and you went and increased it.

If only you had heeded Plato, in respect to 'ignorance'...I was not asked to fix the size of my signiture, until AFTER I had increased it...It had previously been resized, without me receiving any notification - a procedure I find as rude and also rather strange considering we are given a SIZE option...

PS. Do you suffer from a lisp...?

Well when I lived in the North East it was my local and when I go home for visits it's my local. And it's mentioned in The Good Pub Guide 2005. So there!
