tv or not tv

Just one question. Is that high horse comfortable at all?
Someone was asking for opinions and I offered mine. Had I offered it without being asked, then maybe this comment would be something more than mean-spirited. As it is, it's difficult not to take personally. I don't ask you to share my opinion. I don't ask you to change your position or your lifestyle. Most importantly, NEVER did I say anything derogatory or insulting about you.

Thanks for brightening my day.

Now I watched tv not much, there are lots of rubbish especially soaps. there are too many soaps nearly everyday. Only I watched good programmes. Waste our money to spend on rubbish programmes!!

not a big tv watcher, rsather paint read or go for a walk or go to the movies. theres all these new shows that suck, too much reality stuff, tv isnt as good as it was.
i think its gotten worse, rating wise and types of shows.

a society of mindless consumers buying what they tell them to buy, believing what they tell them to believe, and thinking what they tell them to think.

Oh come on?! Do you have so little confidence in the human race - are we really that stupid? I hope not.

I'm broke because of the plasma monitor, my friend.
I have my priorities in life; first the monitor, then food and electricity.

I can't speak for Irene, but my confidence in the world just went down a notch.

Its a golfing term, its when your ball is sitting so close to the hole that it would be practically impossible to miss - therefore its a gimme (as in 'gimme the ball' i'd imagine). Same as saying something is 'a given'.

Well ... you did ask :)

Ahh, suddenly all becomes clear. Well, in that case I'd have to say yes.

But shame on you for knowing so much about golf. :p

Believe me, there are many things to be learnt from playing Tiger Woods 1999 on the PC :) One is that i will never ever go and play golf for real.

I liked the Tab Clear reference though, never has a more useless product been underwhelmingly maligned.
