Litany, what program did you have?? FractalMaker?? My Dad was really into fractals back when we had an Amiga so he had tons of programs for it (he once tried to explain fractals and Mandelbrot to me, but i fell asleep in the middle and then wondered off to play Lemmings and Sensible Soccer :D)

I honestly can't remember. It probably came free on the cover of Amiga Format. :D Another good one was the one that would design a whole island for you. Very pretty. You could type in your birthday and it would use the numbers to generate your very own birthday island. Wasn't very much use for anything else, and you'd have to entertain yourself while it mulled things over, but it was pretty and worth the wait. Again, free on the cover of a magazine.

YES!!! I remember that program! I did love it so much! I would sit there at my Amiga playing with it for hours and hours! I have tired to find something like it on the pc, but alas no.

It was gorgeous, wasn't it? Looking back, it's amazing to think what pretty pictures you could make on such an old machine. They made The Chart Show on an Amiga. Ahh, happy days.

Yeah, it was really ahead of it's time. They actually made the first few seaons of Babylon-5 using an amiga with what was basically a 3d graphics card called video toaster! I always used to get those demos a lot, some of them were really good!

One of the guys I lived with at uni got his Amiga to run MSDOS. There was no real reason for it, and once it was running he didn't have enough memory left to do anything with it, but he got it running.

Why the hell would you want to do that??? Now THAT'S having too much time on your hands :D

Ahhh!!! Amiga Format :D

My Dad bought every issue for about ten years!! :) You know, it was still going til about two or three years ago - no-one ever bought it, but they kept churning them out, getting thinner with every issue!! It was sad :(
