I had never heard of the McGarrigles or Rufus Wainwright(his dad did that timeless classic 'Dead Skunk' you know) til I found this video a few months ago. Mary Black has such a magnificent voice. I think I still prefer the version of Hard Times with her and Dolores Keane. This one ranks high though.

You should really look up some old McGarrigles albums - especially Kate and Anna McGarrigle, Dancer with Bruised Knees and Matapedia. Kate McGarrigle died recently, sad to say.

Kate and Loudon Wainwright III were married for a while, hence Rufus Wainwright (and his sister Martha, who's pretty good too).
