what's everyone up to today?

leckert crosses his arms and pats his foot on the ground waiting for an answer from the obvious deceiver...

Jenn, in a desperate attempt to shift the spotlight, pulls a SirMyk trick, and drags a dead horse over from another thread. She props the carcass against the wall and tries to whinnie without moving her lips.

leckert and ricky look at each other, then back to jenn, waiting for an answer to the lingering "New Brunswick" question.

:D

well considering that ricky (if that is her real name, as we all know it's NOT) is also from new brunswick and thinks she is sooooo high and mighty living in cape cod (whiny mocking voice that winona uses in reality bites when she is yelling at vicki about the phone bill), i think this would be a case of hello pot? yeah, it's kettle.

The horse carcass, weighted with deadness, slips down the wall. Jenn throws her weight against it, pinning it with her shoulder.

"ohh, you want to lay down, now? Okay, horsey..."

Jenn tries to whinnie in her throat again, as the dead horse she is beating slips further towards the floor. She abandons all shame, and insists that Ricky and leckert pay attention to the horse, and ignore her deception.

leckert plays along briefly, embarrassed for his friend.

As an aside, the term "bob's your uncle" is used by "the baddies" in 101 Dalmatians along with another of my favorites, "evening constitutional."

Thanks, Pwilson! I am very familiar with "constitutionals", of both the evening and morning variety. Hadn't heard the 'bob's you uncle' thing, and now it looks like a fradulent "blue nose" (if that is really what they are called?) is trying to fill me full of questionable Nova Scotian from New Brunswick (or something like that!)

:D

Ya Leckert, I've been trying to follow the conversation from afar but have spent a fair amount of time scratching my head and trying to get a grasp on the finer points of Canuck/New England lingo and culture. So far, not much luck! :D

'Bob's your Uncle' is common back home and basically means 'there you go'. I'm guessing it's British - where are the Poms at today to confirm this?
