what's everyone up to today?

I just got surprise roses & handmade truffles from my husband, now I think I married the sweetest man ever :) and will be smiling all day.

I'll do that when he gets home. I've only got about another 6 weeks left before he gets here and I plan to do a lot of squeezing then :D

So, Ronny, I guess I can cancel the order I just put in for roses and handmade truffels to be delivered to you...

Story of my life, too little, too late! :(

I would send them to Jenn, but she is getting all ripped, and what-not, rolling around on her big ball, she'd probably kick my ass! :D

I always like flowers and truffles, don't worry :D

Oh, she has a big ball? Like an exercise ball, I got one of those and couldn't figure it out  I felt pretty foolish after awhile so I gave it to my cats, they showed it a thing or two.

Cats, and a big rubber excercise ball! That sounds like about 10 hours of hilarity!

I saw an excercise post that Moto started a while ago, and Jenn said she was in a class where they rolled around and flailed about on a big excercise ball. I thought it was kind of amusing!

:D

And, sorry, but I ate the roses, and planted the truffels in the yard. Wanted to avoid any potential 'conflicts'!

I need to get to the gym more, enduring sweaty, red faced, optimists would be worth it to see that.

Its gorgeously hot here today, about 98 degrees, been out for some retail therapy this morning, now off to the beach for a few hours...I'm missing being around the forum, but its that time of year when people from the UK descend on us for their summer holidays, I'm just there to pass the suncream and shake out the beach towels *sighs*.....back next week, have a good one everybody.

no i have given up the big rubber ball and all the flailing about for a smaller, harder ball. i'm still getting in shape but i'm black and blue (in the glove, in the glove, in the glove). however, ronny, the big ball is great to sit on at the comp if your desk is low enough, and if you can get it back from the cats.
leckert, a little is never too late. :)

Jenn,

Eventually you will either learn to field, or be the toughest chick on the team! I admire your sacrifice, though! Few have the tenacity (sp?) to throw themselves into their sport as you do! (quite literally!) and, in the end, they won't ask if you caught the ball with your glove, or stopped it with your face, they will only care if you got the "W"!

(Wish I was still athletic enough to be a backstop! Sounds like you are having lots of fun! Baseball ROCKS!)

Sadly my cats killed the ball, they are vicious little beasties. I do like hearing about your ball games almost makes me want to play but after I got hit in the nose with a soft ball a few years back I tend to duck and cover my face with the glove if anything comes at me, needless to say I don't get picked much to play anymore. Other balls don't scare me but hell that was false advertising those things ain't soft.

I got asked for my phone number today :p  and i gave it lol. It was the driver of my coach aka bus. We are going to meet up next week! This will be complicated..!

that's fun!!! complicated because if it ends up being a disaster then how will you get around? :D

keep us posted.

Lol, complicated as im supposed to be seeing this guy that lives in England, who is being an asshole at the moment. But yes also as he is my driver :D heh!

I am driving way out in the stcks to visit an acquaintance that I am not sure I like very much but am kind of obligated to check in on. I hope I can get out rather quickly and not have my whole afternoon wasted. I hate getting sucked into these type things.

I'm wondering about frogs.

I looked out the window and noticed that there was something larger than the typical moth on the window. Much to my surprise I found that it was a small frog. What on earth is a frog doing on my window? I live on the third floor, how the heck did it get up here? I wonder if it's ok out there. I wonder if it's lost or cold or hungry.

I feel bad leaving it out there but I don't know what to do with it. I'm not comfortable leaving Matthew alone while I engage in a frog rescue operation and I don't think it would be safe to take it down and put it in the yard - the lawn was sprayed with chemicals today and I'm afraid the chemicals would kill it. I'd have to go across and down the road a ways, cross a bridge and then make my way out away from the road before the frog would be in a relatively safe enviroment. I wonder if animal control does small frog rescue. :|

Renee.

It must have fallen out of the sky like at the end of Magnolia. Don't worry Renee all those little coincidences in your life will soon make sense! ;)

4 and a half hours left of work. Then it's home to bed for a few hours and then enjoy a couple of days off before I come back for an extra shift on Sunday night.

Tree frogs are very good climbers, I think it will be ok and make it's own way down :) We have a lot of frogs around here and I find them in the oddest places sometimes.
