what's everyone up to today?

Hope you have fun at your game. I didn't sleep well at all and feel like a zombie today. I'm going to be having friends over later and I'm debating whether to attempt cooking for them or just order something in. Considering my current state of tiredness, I better order in or everything will be burnt :eek:

It was returned unfortunately. Since it didn't fall this time it probably wouldn't have been flat enough to fit in an envelope anyway.

One a whole different matter I'm interested in becoming a conservator of animals. If I aquire some kind of rodents as pets I could use them as practise when they snuff it. Hopefully they don't live very long. Others might be interested in conserving their pets as well and then I could move on to felines and canines.
 
You know that's a pretty stinky business, it won't make you to popular with the neighbors :)
 
I hadn't thought about the stinkiness. But I think you just toss/bury the remains (as usual when loved pets die) or as Crystal suggested making pie out of it. Either way it might have to end up in the freezer for a while.
 
I attemped to go into town today but got so pissed off with the crowds that i went home again. Sorry tourists but i hate this season!
 
I've been browsing the homepages of universitys all day.. it's kinda frustrating. There is something wrong everywhere, but I have one year left to decide. And now I'm going to prepare everything for tomorrow, the new school year starts.

Why are you asking for feedback on a work that is not "final"?

To post a "draft", then go onto another thread and backhandedly beg for a critique, to which you will respond "It's not finished yet", is disrespectful of the time and efforts of your readers.
 
hanging out, trying to cope with the heat....drinking lots o' margaritas sitting poolside, sunbathing.....uh, wait, is this the fantasy thread or the what are you really doing thread....shit....i don't wanna talk about it..... :eek:
 
I am so excited someone gave me some white, platform, gogo boots that match perfectly with my favorite vintage mini dress. I love surprises, now I can't wait to go out and wear them, after I get the knack for walking in them that is :) but when I put them on my friend says I look almost like a grown up.
 
So, with those boots, you must be like one of those "life-sized" action figures!

Yes my friends assure me that any stripper and/or drag queen in Vegas would be proud to have 'em if their feet were small enough for them that is. Next time I'm in Vegas I'm going for the whole beehive, fake lashes, gogo look.
 
Working hard and trying to catch up on everything that I left behind before I went on vacation. French people are not understanding my emails, conferences are accepting abstracts that are incorrect, and the payroll office has cocked up again. And to top it all off, Eudora is pissing me off to no end as it suddenly won't transfer email from my POP server. Gah!!! I don't understand servers and stuff, so this is a nightmare. Not having a chipper day at all!!

Oh, and I just found out my kung fu grading, which my friend from home was timing her visit to see, has been moved to September. Gah! It gives me more time to train, but she's had to pay out for a more expensive high season fare for nought. Bah humbug to Mondays!

I need a cookie.
 
I think there are some licked-and-dipped gingersnaps left over from MotoKid's ransom ordeal!
