@stillilearn, funny funny. :D

@leckert, were you in the musical?

Of course! I was one of the studly hoods smoking a cigarette in the background of the Carnival scene in the end!

I also flopped around on the hood of one of the cars in the "Greased Lightnin'" scene, but I don't think that made the final cut. It was actually another "Cabbage Patch gone bad", and I think I may have exposed myself to the camera, as well. (I have a habit of doing both!)

Careful you don't slip on shit; it usually goes four floors up in Edinburgh before it's just the smell that's left. :D

Ive had a very productive morning so far. Battled my way around the local supermarket without the need to assist forlorn British tourists who can't work out the fruit and veg weighing system, cooked up a tasty pile of broccoli,spinach and carrots for my tortoise,conserved the stock for the minestrone I am going to make in a while, and shoved a huge pile of chefs whites in the washing machine.

I've only drunk one pot of espresso so far today, and having almost completed my domestic goddess duties for the morning, I am now going to drink another one. Then I can spend all afternoon fine tuning my book order...

Calling all my contacts to see if I can organise a new contract. This is all due to the coup in Mauritania, the place I was meant to fly to on Aug 14th!

The company I am meant to work for over there has given me very little information, which is not good as I know a meeting was held yesterday for all staff members involved with the project. My direct manager neglected to pass this information on :mad: . However I know enough people in the office that they let me know the score.

So far I have potential work offered in October through to January. That was my first call and now I am off to a meeting to see what other people can offer.

Such is the life of a consultant.

This will be my youngest sons first business meeting. He is 17 months old :D
