Hey, I remember this thread – well, the title of the thread, anyway. 
While I was reading it again, I got the impression that the people enjoyed discussing the topics and presenting their views, having a (mostly) civil and lively discussion, and being respectful of each other. Apologies are offered and accepted.
In comparing this thread to another recent thread that had 'elitist comments', the posters on this thread seem to be fairly laid back. They aren't continually counter quoting each other in a verbal tennis match or dissecting each other's posts in an attempt to get in the last word.
