Haha! Ok. 30+ it is. I'd probably try Spellman, as I'm not so sure I'd like Plum. I like fluffy reads! I spent some time a couple of years ago chugging down The Dresden Files. Enjoyable while it lasted. :)
Ok, the preloading is done, and apparently I get to run it in the next 10 hours. We'll see, because I'm half dead from lack of sleep today.
I'll try not to spoil it for you! ;)
Thanks readsalot! Although a bit frightened by the word 'girl'. I'm actually a little older than a 2-inch tall banana, and don't really read the books both Spellman and Plum come from. Should I give them a try?
Hmm. I'm beginning to understand something here about the interest in you, Carlos. I've been around this forum for a long time, but I never was quite able to place why you elicited so much attention, and why you needed to create so many userids on the same forum. Maybe our astrological signs...
You seriously became way funnier when I wasn't looking. I mean I laughed my ass out often enough, but this seemed another level.
Don't tell me - it's the pot noodles.
LOL! I see where this is going. Why the heck did I stay up late till 4 yesterday when all I needed was some pot noodles? Some people just like to hog all these tips for themselves.
Thank you so much for your feedback! Actually this piece is a submission to a lesson for an online writing course that I'm taking, and the lesson instructions required conflict between 2 people only. I will write one where someone gets screwed in a meeting attended by more people. And throw in a...
Wow. From clumsy sentences to chuck palahniuk! This course is definitely paying for itself! :)
Now to see if I can sustain this in something more than 500 words. ;)
Haha! You mean not giving bad feedback? that's what I need and want! Don't hold back! :)
I have my share of critical feedback on this piece already in the other place, so I know this piece is not perfect. Haha!
Hey guys, thanks! It's actually a lesson submission from the online writing course I'm taking. This lesson was about senses, and how I should incorporate 8 senses in a 500 word paragraph. The normal 5 senses plus the sense of the unknown, time and space.
feedback of any kind is actually...
I had never been up to this floor before. The first thing that struck me as the elevator doors opened was the cacophony of ringtones, a dizzying stream of chatter, the shuffling of feet and papers. It seemed at first glance that the rows of cubicles stretched all the way to the skyline, which...
"Not again, fer chrissakes!"
This was going to be so ugly.
"How many times must I tell you to do this? The company loses money every week because of your inability to do your clocking on time! Is it really that difficult, setting aside 5 bloody minutes every bloody Friday?"
Jason...
Hey, a gaming gal! Cool! :) Did you like any of the guy characters in ME?
Will, I agree completely on Steam! :) I too have been collecting icons because of the sales. But I eventually play them. You know, about 2-3 years later. Eventually. :)
You wouldn't have this problem with consoles, no. But do you have Steam already? If you do then Origin is just another system, right?
But I suppose I too won't like it if I had to install Steam and Origin and goodness knows what else they come up with.
It's too bad ME3 won't be available on Steam.
Over the week I've been reading Pattern Recognition, and I'm almost done. Something struck me quite by surprise: Cayce's ex-boyfriend's name is Donny! Pont, perhaps that's why you suggested Cayce? :)
She's cool, but not really my type, it turns out. No sense of humour. Would make a great...
