Yes! Have you not read what I posted earlier? My beautiful country is a wreck. I'm a university student in a city where people don't care about each other, or the consequences of their actions. I'll be heading off to work soon, and I never walk those few blocks alone, or at least not without some sort of protection. Thanks to our wonderful laws where prisoners can get good food, luxury accomodations, a college education and sometimes even an allowance! Please, do bring back the strap! I'm sick and tired and nearly getting mugged, almost getting raped, and getting harassed daily!
 
Ugh, I've read about that Canadian mass murderer who was actually allowed to call his victims' families and harass them while he was in prison. Absolutely despicable.

My point exactly. Our disciplinary system isn't working. How about the guy who has had AIDS for 10 years and knowingly has had sex with (authorities and friends of the criminal estimate) 200 girls. Last I heard, nothing was being done about it.

So if you got raped the guy is supposed to be caned and if another person smashed your windows and robbed you he is also supposed to be caned? and if a kid swears at school and dosen't do their assignments they are also caned or strapped or britched or paddled or slippered or twased?

If a terroist blew up a nuclear silo he just caused inscurity for a while. If all our silos are down then if the russians attack then there is a serious problem. So that person should be gotten rid of.

Well why don't we just cut out the middle man and attack Russia now? In fact, why don't we kill two birds with one nuke and tie the terrorists on to the noses of the missiles we drop onto Russia? We could film the whole thing and turn it into a Coke advert.

From your posts, I wouldn't say you were up on current events; so, let me be the one to break it to you...the cold war is over. People now live in a majority of those silos.
