Woke up today to go to work super early, only to discover that my keys are in my wife's jacket....which is at her work.....thirty minutes away.  I'll get by today, but I'm a little disheartened as I really needed to get some extra stuff done.

So, tell us about your most recent bad day.:D

Just yesterday, my dear darling daughter, sometimes lovingly known around here as "Bridezilla" dropped the bombshell that she and Prince Charming are considering getting married in his church, not ours:eek: Guess who had the job of informing the Father of the Bride? It ain't over yet....

Last sunday I had a family outing to the zoo as it was my nieces 2nd birthday......however my half brother conveniently forgot to mention that my dads ex wife (my half brother and sisters mother) was coming too. Things didnt end well with my dad and his ex wife, even though it happened a long time ago and he re married. So it was a lovely tense day out!
Then that same evening i managed to catch a tummy bug and was vomiting for the next 2 days. Im just recovering now really. Oh and iv had to quit my job as they are all complete idiots....so no more free internet!

My latest bad day was last Monday when I had my wisdom tooth surgically removed and my cheek blew up to twice its normal size (think the Godfather)and I had to stuff myself full of painkillers for the next week. And as if the pain was not enough, it cost a small fortune AND I have to do it again with another tooth next year.:(

I can empathize! When I had the wisdom teeth on my left side out, I had it done at the hospital as one day surgery, due to fear of complications. I'm deaf in my right ear, and I was afraid of infection damaging the good left ear. The kicker is, we found out after the surgery, that our insurance would not cover it since it only covered oral surgery in case of cancer..So we had to cough up the $700+ at a time we could least afford it. I hope you're feeling better now;)

Is it OK if the bad day hasn't happened yet? For my Friday night fun tomorrow I will also be in the dentist chair having a procedure called "scaling and root planing" done. Everything I've heard about it makes me think it will be fairly awful. As if that's not enough, I get to spend Saturday doing overtime at work.

MAKE them give you the good drugs! Seriously.

That bad, huh? From what I understand they'll be doing the orajel type of local anasthetic. *gulp*

Got the keys back.......just goes to show that it doesn't pay to get worked up about much of anything.

Well I am not sure I would consider this a "bad" day. But I took my 12 year old daughter and friend shopping today for my daughter's 12th bday. OMG it was the longest day of my life shopping. I love to shop but there comes a time when u just want to drop and I am to that point. We left at 8 am and just got home at 11 pm :( Nothing went to terribly wrong. I just didnt get anything at all for myself  Oh well another time :D

I think they need chairs and counselors for men whose wives like to shop. Nothing is more amusing than to stand there like a kid and want to go home. You then see some other poor schlub and you give each other a nod that says: "dude, I hear ya" and you then wander into the slacks section with your wife to look at the new creme and beige colored.......ahhhhhhhhhh! My wife's pretty good actually, I'll browse the book section or head off to the cigar shop with my brother in law. She doesn't inflict shopping on me that much if it can be avoided. Christmas shopping is another deal, we cooperate like a well-integrated SWAT team when the night before christmas comes along.

She's saving up 'credit' for when she has to shop for a mother of the groom dress:D

Hey, I'm glad this thread was started so I can vent! :D

My car died on me on Monday night. I couldn't get to work on Tuesday, which meant I had to take the day off (lost wages), and had to come in late on Wednesday because I had to take the car into the garage (thank goodness the garage was less than 1 mile away, and mostly downhill :p ). They can't find anything wrong with my car, and had to take it to the main service centre - but they can't look at it until next week. I can't get a courtesy car, because they are all manual, and I only drive automatic. Now I have to rely on someone else to drive me in to work for the next several days. I like my morning drive into work - it lets me have my "alone time" before facing work-hell.

Wow, you sound like one big ball of anger........angerball.:D

Well I had a great day. The sun was shining brightly and I got out of work an hour and half early!

Just thought I would mock those that are having a bad day ;) :D

Just call me evil bunny

C'mon, you're just not trying hard enough - something crappy must have happened to you today. Your new council tax bill arrived? You ran out of chocolate? I know - your train was late (that's a dead cert.)
