what's everyone up to today?

Just the usual here for me today. I have much housework, much sewing and a little machine fixing to do. Exciting, huh?

i am back from the stones concert and it rocked....!!! anyone who says the stones are too old to play and should retire needs to see then in concert. mick jagger has more energy than most people i know. they were awesome! they opened with start me up....and finished with she's so cold. and since fenway park isn't huge, even though we had relatively far seats, we were still close enough to see the stage perfect. i also spotted cher and whoopi goldberg there......then we went out after to this funky little restaurant and pigged out and drank our faces off. good times, good times. now today the weather is perfect, no work to be done, can just chill by the pool and wait for the phone to ring.....

laurie, how was the concert?

i was trying to get this in before you.

i am having an endless day. ENDLESS!!!!!!

i didn't get you a t-shirt..they were really f'ing expensive and it was that or beer. the greatest part of the concert was this chick next to me shared her pot... :D

no worries. i'm not getting you a t shirt from the shawn desmond concert that is here this weekend.

ummmm......first question is who in the hell is shawn desmond and are you really going to his concert?

i don't know. but he is live cheese walking around on two legs. good grief and gravy!!!!!

You are confusing an old man.

Back in my day, cheese was a bad thing. Someone could be "cheesy", and it was bad. Someone could smell "cheesy", and it was bad. The bathrooms could be "cheesy", and it was bad.

We never had 'live cheese', and I'm not sure if this is bad or good?

Do you like Mr. Desman?

And good grief and gravy yourself! :D

So, Kooky, do you concur that this Desman fellow is cheesy?
I would go so far as to say he is 'fromage', in fact. And yet... there's something addictive to his correographed dance and his videos in which all the women just adore him.

But the hair is just going too far. It reminds me of those Pepi LePew cartoons in which the cat always got paint or hairdye accidently spilt down it's back and looked like a skunk.

Good grief and gravy? Good grief and gravy! I'm gonna be saying that all day now, I like that, Good grief and gravy, hmm, uhm, hmm, hmm.

When I was a kid, our 6th grade class took a trip to the local insane asylum (don't laugh, that's what you do when you are in Ohio!).

Some of the patients there had hair like his.
