what's everyone up to today?

yes, it is, to me at least. But that is why I am researching it. I need to find out if I want to devote four years to studying it and then twenty+ doing it.

Thanks. Believe it or not, I am considering engineering.
I did an engineering degree and am now doing my masters - what type of engineering? Feel free to PM if that's personal.

Really?!?! The two fields that appeal to me the most are civil and mechanical. You? Feel free to PM, too.

had a took take one of my pooches to the vet, but he's a champ!
my hair is now taking on a life of its own what with the humidity and all....
spent the rest of the day doing the usual.....made a gorgeous baked french toast....unfortunately have severe case of PMS so no food is safe in my house today...i'm at the point where the guests will be sitting outside with snacks, and i'm hovering over them asking, 'what are you eatin'?'

Cajunmama: Have PM'ed you my field, but thought I'd share the rest of the PM with the forum:

If I could make one recommendation, and this is something I wish that I had done prior to starting my degree, it is to do a week of work experience/placement either before you start the degree, or after your first year. This enables you to see what you'd be doing in the real world, as the university environment is very artificial at times, particularly early on. If you like the placement/work experience, you'll likely like the job. Sometimes the university work is a bit of a grind to get done and doesn't seem practical. If you know how what you're studying fits into the bigger picture it will help *a lot*. If you DON'T like the placement, you can more than likely transfer between engineering fields very easily at the end of your first year. It'll get harder to transfer as you become more specialised.

I am starting to hate my son's puppy. It refuses to be housebroke so I've banished to the outdoors. Today the little monster dug up everything and I maen evrything I had planted out there  I thought my cats, I call them my little devils, Lucifer(lucy), Beelzebub(Beezle) and Satin (Satie) got into trouble but the puppy puts all three of them to shame. I really don't know how much more of this I can take.

kook that is great advice, for anyone not just engineering.

Went for a job interview on Tuesday. I didn't get the job.

As for your second question, my dog will eat anything. So far, the only thing he doesn't like is lettuce, but if you mix it with something else, he'll have it.

grocery shopping likely. today is supposed to be brutally hot again so i will just go hang out in produce for the afternoon. also wtih moto being kidnapped by transvestites who represent the pot smokers of america i thought i would try to rally some more support. we are trying to raise ransom but we can't get a consensus on whether we should send the cash( all 10$ of it) or buy doritos and send those. big day ahead of me. big.

you?
