what's everyone up to today?

Found a kitten whining outside my window on the sixth floor. Took it inside and eventually found some neighbours that were missing a cat. They had been down looking for stains on the concrete.

I got to witness quite a fight this morning. My new nieghbors (the good looking, all blonde and perfectly put together family) were going at it in the parking lot and I mean the whole family, the parents, 4 kids and even the dog out there raising hell. I didn't quite know what to do, so I walked over and asked if they needed any help, they all looked at my funny and I got the impression they didn't want to be bothered so I slipped in my car and left. I hate those awkward situations that you stumble into and don't know how to respond to.

Off to dress like that bunny-suited man in Donny Darko and hide under jenn's bed with Carrot Top.

I don't know we had a friend dress in a bunny suit for easter once and he looked pretty cute in it, kinda hot really I can't get my hubby to put one on though.

It still disturbs me that you own a bunny suit.
Carot Top seems to like it. I play bunny; he plays carrot. Okay, now I'm off to shoot myself...

Today I slept really late, until almost 10. Then I made breakfast for me and my fiance and then I worked a bit (I can do that from home, it's pretty nice). Made lunch, worked some more, but not too much, and then I went and hung out with my sister, who just finished her internship today (she was working in environmental biology, in a lab next to a soybean field). I washed her dishes and packed them (she's going home for 3 weeks before the fall semester starts here at the university) and then left to come back home. Got McDonald's for dinner (Yeah no cooking!) and wasted time on the Internet for a while. I read this entire thread and laughed out loud several times :D Squirrel pee, porn basket, frogs, bunnies, cats, balls, neighbors, hair... you guys are highly entertaining!

We aim to please :D, I ran around shopping all day got some books, some old photos at an antique shop, chocolate & rum for the weekend. I am having an old friend come by tomorrow night, she is a gossip queen so I'm looking forward to hearing what everyone has been up to. She is bringing her 2 new roomates so I even cleaned for them.

sounded an interesting day. ermmm. Did you return it or did you make it for your supper? Or, could you mail it to me? The kitten, the kitten, I mean. :p

I just posted what turned out to be a rant about Yahoo in this thread only to find that I'd been logged out, but I'm over it now so you are all spared that.

I've just made some coffee and am trying not to think about food........apart from that all the usual suspects are lined up for today...washing machine, change of bedding, cats and tortoise, supermarket, marvelling at the extreme blue of the sky, siesta/reading, lunchtime calls from Italian telesales people, and tonight probably a passegiata along the prom, coffee at Bar Ciao Ciao and people watching..

I stayed up late, stewing. I slept in, and have spent the morning in the basement watching TV and playing a little Guit-box.

I am taking my daughter to RFK this afternoon for the Nationals game. We play the Padres, who seem to be on a roll.

May not be pretty, but it will be fun! It will be my daughter's first game at RFK! (She's stoked!)
