Totally different personalities, pontalba, I agree -- but don't you see the physical resemblance? Clift wasn't as refined as VN, but, well -- who then? :)

The only analogy I can come up with is that Clift looks like a street thug, and Nabokov looks to be a gentleman. Which as far as I know he was.

An actor that reminds me of Nabokov? Have to think on that one.

All bookcases (five) are up and running!!! And filled! Thanks to a good friend of mine that came over today. I don't know how I could have gotten it done without her. :cool: :D

I tried to make it moo too. I think maybe a GIF is just too big or something.

Will this one work?

(I absolutely do see the resemblance, and Robert does look a lot more refined than Monty. Also, his accent will work better. We'll have the makeup department deal with the eyebrows and the hairline.)

Oh SIL! Thats great! I'm so glad you found a picture that could be put up on the thread instead of just the link! You know, I can't even get the picture I found to even come up in "My Pictures". :confused: I tried twice, and no dice. Oh well, maybe its something to do with IMDb? Taylor was a good looking fella wasn't he...;)
